Abstract

The analysis of stress-strain state for the machining tool provided under the dynamic loading. The dynamic elastic-plastic boundary value problem for both variants of the shock loading positioning on the structure is considered: frontal cob working and sloping hinged impacts of a tool element into the obstacle. To make a geometrical 3D model of the machining tool and to numerically solve the contact problem with finite element modelling, the software packages Pro/Engineer and ANSYS were used. The stress-strain state of the machining tool composite structure after calculations demonstrates various ranges and zones, where plastic deformations occurred. Their positioning and levels depend on the collision angles and location.
