Д. М. Синцов и Харьковская математическая школа: анализ особенностей философско-метоологического сознания ученых

Abstract

The article is devoted to a problem of scientific reflexion of mathematicians, using the example of the Kharkov mathematics community. It is conducted a reconstruction of a methodological consciousness of D. M. Sintsov, the founder of the Kharkov geometry school. The cognitive and social conditions of emergence and the specifics of historical and philosophical reflexion of mathematicians and its role in science developing are analysed. Sintsov highly appreciated the activities of the history of mathematics. Sintsov sought to make available a wide range of domestic mathematic outstanding works of Western science. During his research activities, he took part in the work of 23 international mathematical congresses and conferences.
