Abstract

The tool wear in diamond grinding of hard materials with a range of different speeds and depths of cut under the introduction to the cutting area of electrical discharges is investigated on examples of processing over welding and carbide materials with tungsten comprising. Ascertained tendency the increasing of specific diamond content under increased cutting speed in ordinary speed range agrees with the predicted behavior of a binder in diamond-metal composition of grinding wheel in high-speed machining.
