Abstract

The article presents the results of comparative bench testing of automobile petrol engine Volkswagen models VW BBY (working volume of 1.39 liters, the power of 55 kW at 5000 min⁻1) with various configurations of the external catalytic neutralizer: the first - standard equipment, second - instead of the main unit It was installed an experimental catalyst. In order to confirm the results of evaluation of the effectiveness of the experimental converter conducted its tests on the gas engine 8CH10/8.8, who worked for the electric power generator (30 kW).
