Abstract

The problems of the study of technological modes of belt conveyors with variable frequency drive using the combined simulation model, containing virtual, mathematical and structural components. As the main factor of the optimum management of energy consumption conveyor system by adjusting the speed depending on the performance of the conveyor so as to maintain a constant linear load on the belt. This provides a constant static load of the drive. Obtained flow chart of dynamic processes at different technological modes of operation of the conveyor, as well as a graph of the instantaneous values of the energy characteristics, in particular the total power consumption of its components, power factor and efficiency for constant conveyor speed, and in the case of regulated electric. Provided quantitative comparative evaluation of both options.
