Анотація
У статті розглянуто соціально-економічну сутність ефективності праці та значення її цілеспрямованого підвищення для забезпечення успішного функціонування підприємств. З’ясовано принципи її визначення й основні показники, окреслено фактори і резерви підвищення продуктивності праці.
Efficiency in a broad sense – a total impact of human activities. It reflects the ratio obtained useful results and the volume of resources expended on it. Economics – the science of using limited resources to best meet the needs of society. As society's needs are constantly growing and are virtually limitless, then their complete satisfaction can be achieved only through the most efficient use of available resources. Thus, the efficiency – a key, the core problem is the economy. Economics – the science, first of all, on the effectiveness and proper understanding of this category, its ability to accurately identify and count on finding new reserves of its increase – the main purpose of professional economists. The article deals with the socio-economic essence of efficiency of work and the value of its targeted improvements to ensure the successful functioning of enterprises, clarified the principles of its definition and basic indicators, the factors and reserves of increase of labor productivity.
