Abstract

Seasonal and daily "dips" or "peaks" of electricity consumption, any changes in load lead to an excess of reactive power and to an increase in voltage in the lines. The paper considers the influence of operating modes of electrical equipment, in particular, turbogenerators, on maintaining the balance of active and reactive power in the power system.
