Влияние прессования на свойства твердых растворов PbTe–PbSe

Abstract

Influence of pressing on the microhardness, Seebeck coefficient, electrical conductivity and charge carrier mobility of the PbTe–PbSe polycrystalline solid solutions in the concentration range 0-5.0 mol. % PbSe was investigated at a room temperature. The microhardness was shown to increase in the pressed samples while the electrical conductivity and the charge carrier mobility decrease. The annealing of the pressed samples leads to the change in the conductivity type, the microhardness decrease, and an increase in the electrical conductivity and charge carrier mobility. It was shown that the concentration anomalies of the properties in the range 0.5-2.0 mol. % PbSe, which had been observed earlier in the cast samples and attributed to the transition to the impurity continuum, occurring in the pressed samples and confirm the fact of existence of the transition from diluted to concentrated solid solutions.
