Анотація
У статті розглянуто рейтингові системи оцінки як ефективний інструмент для узагаьнення важливих характеристик економічних і соціально-політичних аспектів життєдіяльності країни, що визначають її конкурентоспроможність і місце у глобальному просторі. Досліджено методологічні аспекти міжнародних рейтингів та методику розрахунку індексу глобальної конкурентоспроможності. Здійснено аналіз загального індексу конкурентоспроможності країн світу за 2014-2015 рр. та визначено позицію України в цьому рейтингу.
The article deals with competitiveness ranking rating systems as an instrument for synthesis of important characteristic of economic and socio and political aspects of the country life, which determine its competitiveness and place in the global environment. Methodological aspects of international ratings as well as the method of calculating the index of global competitiveness (GCI) depending on the stage of economic development have been considered. The work has analised the general index of competitiveness of countries for 2014-2015 and defined the position of Ukraine in this rating. Ukraine`s weak points and its competitive advantages have been identified based on the study of the dynamics of 12 components which form the competitiveness ranking. Measuring rating system, prevailing in the international practice, is an effectife instrument for assessing global image of any country while considering economical and socio and political aspects. It helps to define the essential factors of shaping rating, leadind to future identifying priority areas of state development strategy.
