Публікація Aligning the Interests of Business and Society: Shared Value, Integrated Value, And Corporate Social Responsibility(Видавничий дім "Інжек", 2020) Nashchekina, O. M.; Nwafor, Franklin Nnemeka; Tymoshenkov, I. V.The evolution of CSR is largely the history of reconciling economic goals of business and social goals of society. Relatively recent CSR related concepts “creating shared value” (CSV) and “integrated value creation” (IVC) aim at aligning interests of business and society by producing economic and social value simultaneously. The purpose of this article is to compare the CSV and IVC concepts and show their relation to CSR. In particular, we discuss whether CSV and IVC can be regarded as substitutes for CSR, varieties of CSR or completely new paradigms, and come to the conclusion that the positioning of both concepts depends on how broadly CSR is defined. We summarize major criticisms of the CSV concept and provide our own vision of the strengths and limitations of both concepts, showing why at least the CSV concept cannot supplant CSR. Comparing CSV and IVC, we focus on the differences between them and show that IVC represents a more fundamental shift in business philosophy and aims at a deeper and system-wide rather than local and fragmentary integration within society. We maintain that the CSV and IVC ideas can and should be used in strategic planning as inspiration for innovative thinking, as guidelines for increasing business competitiveness and societal well-being. We also point out the need for refining methodological frameworks for the practical implementation of the CSV and IVC ideas.Документ An innovative component in generating efficiency of sunflower production(Publishing House "Baltija Publishing", 2021) Shyian, Dmytro; Ulianchenko, Nataliia; Honcharova, KaterynaThe introductory part emphasizes that since 2004, Ukrainian agriculture has gradually begun to crank up production. This is largely associated with the growth of crop production, including sunflower. During 2004–2020, gross sunflower yield increased by 3.1 times, and yield capacity – more than double. Research methods involve grouping a complex of agricultural enterprises following the cost value per 1 ha of the sown area and sunflower yield. To classify the enterprises according to the level of innovative production, the authors have put forward a method for determining the coefficient of innovation. The object of the study comprises the agricultural enterprises of Kharkiv region. The results of grouping following yield rate have made it possible to establish a direct dependence between the cost value and sunflower yield. In a group of enterprises with an average yield of up to 15 centners/ha, costs amounted to 9653 UAH/ha; in a group with a yield of 25.1–30 centners/ha – 14860 UAH/ha; with a yield of more than 45 centners/ha – 27518 UAH/ha. It has also been found that an increase in the rate of sunflower yield by 1 centner leads to an average profit increase of 307.9 UAH/ha. The grouping of enterprises by the level of costs per 1 sown area of sunflower has made it possible to assume that the nature of the relationship of a grouping indicator with profit margin is characterized by a nonlinear function. It has been determined that this function has a maximum when the cost increases by 16960 UAH/ha and the amount of profit – by 6199 UAH/ha. The paper has also marked that under such cost value, the value of sunflower yield should be equal to 29.8 centners/ha. The practical approval of the methodological approach to determining the coefficient of innovative development of sunflower production has shown that this indicator objectively conveys the rate of use of innovations in the manufacturing process. Enterprises that had a coefficient of innovative development above 1 were characterized by a much higher level of yield, profitability, and production intensity.Документ Assessment of the efficiency of outsourcing at industrial enterprises(Leipzig University, 2018) Prokhorenko, O. However, it was the coronavirus crisis that revealed the critical organizational tensions and fragility of dominant international business models employed by traditional MNCs.Публікація Charge carrier mobility in semiconductor solid solutions and percolation phenomena(2017) Rogacheva, E. I.; Nashchekina, O. N.; Martynova, E. V.The existence of a range of an anomalous growth in charge carrier mobility under the transition to heavy doping is established for Bi₂Te₃–Sb₂Te₃ solid solutions. This confirms our suggestion about the universal character of critical phenomena accompanying the transition from impurity discontinuum to impurity continuum. The experimental results are analyzed in terms of percolation theory taking into account alloy scattering and spatial correlations of impurity centers.Публікація Comparative analysis of the definitions of crisis(Національний технічний університет "Харківський політехнічний інститут", 2023-11) Shkira, Oleksandr; Nashchekina, O. N.Публікація Comprehensive system of financial and economic security of the enterprise(2020) Stashchuk, O.; Vitrenko, A.; Kuzmenko, O.; Koptieva (Fadieieva), H. M.; Tarasova, O.; Dovgan, L.The article considers the main aspects of the formation of a comprehensive system of financial and economic security of the enterprise. It is revealed that the financial and economic security of the enterprise is its ability to ensure stability in both current and future periods, to minimize and neutralize the impact of risks, threats and dangers. It is established that the basis of a comprehensive approach is to achieve financial stability of the enterprise, its protection from the negative effects of internal and external threats. That is, the complexity of the system of financial and economic security of the enterprise is realized through the integration of a set of measures, the mechanism of their generation and provision. The article describes the method of building a system of the comprehensive evaluation of the system of financial and economic security of the enterprise, using the tree of goals and the tree of assessments. It is shown the ability to relate specifically defined values and explore the nature of their interdependence to be able to choose the best option to achieve the expected result.Публікація Concentration anomalies of properties in Pb₁₋ₓGeₓTe solid solutions(1993) Rogacheva, E. I.; Sinelnik, N. A.; Nashchekina, O. N.The investigation of electrical conductivity, coefficient of thermal electromotive force, Hall coefficient, microhardness and mobility in Pb₁₋ₓGeₓΤe (x = 0 : 0.1) alloys in the temperature range of 77-300 K was carried out. Anomalies were detected in isotherms of properties in the vicinity of x = 0.008. The anomalies were treated as a manifestation of concentration phase transitions occurring in solid solutions of any kind and associated with existence of critical concentration (percolation threshold) at which the uninterrupted chain of interactions between impurity atoms is formed.Публікація Concentration dependences of galvanomagnetic and thermoelectric properties of Bi1-xSbx thin films in the range x = 0 – 0.25(Національна академія наук України, 2019) Rogacheva, E. N.Документ The coronavirus COVID-19 effect on global economy(Національний технічний університет "Харківський політехнічний інститут", 2020) Gololobova, Olesya; Chmeleva, OlgaThe article is devoted to the consideration of the economic situation in most world countries in connection with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, as well as to the analysis of the factors of economic decline in various sectors of the economy, industry and service provision. The outbreak of coronavirus has already caused suffering to humanity and led to significant economic shock. The decline in output in China is felt worldwide, reflecting China's key and growing role in global supply chains, as well as in financial and tourism markets. Outbreaks elsewhere in the world have similar effects, albeit on a smaller scale. Today, the prospects for economic growth remain uncertain, in particular, according to the forecast, the annual growth of global GDP as a whole until 2020 will fall to 2.4% compared to 2.9% predicted in 2019. The longer and more intense phase of the coronavirus outbreak, which is spreading widely in Asian region, Europe and North America, will significantly weaken economic expectations. In this case, global growth may drop to 1.5% in 2020, which is twice the projected rate of COVID-19 outbreak. There are also serious concerns that the continued spread of COVID-19 could jeopardize food security. Those are issues that make the work relevant. The theoretical and practical importance of the work is the need to consider as soon as possible the impact of negative risks on the economies of the world, the development of the most effective and proactive measures to prevent the infection of the virus, as well as the introduction of clearly targeted policies to support health systems and its workers, to protect the income of vulnerable social groups and enterprises during the pandemic. Activities aimed at maintaining macroeconomic policies can help restore confidence and encourage renewed demand and help to implement coordinated multilateral actions to ensure better health policies, deter and mitigate business controls, support businesses and ordinary low-income citizens. The conclusion was made that assessing the economic consequences of the virus outbreak is not an easy task due to uncertainty. However, it is possible to try to model scenarios for further restructuring of the world economy and its recovery.Публікація Corporate and governmental social responsibility: possible approaches to unemployment reduction(Міжнародний університет бізнесу і права, 2018) Brin, P. V.; Nehme, M. N.This article presents a strategic approach to youth unemployment reduction in Lebanon. The approach named as Modern Technical Institute is a tool for developing technical skills through the short-term advanced program (in case of youth it is vocational learning). It is proposed a way of collaboration with industrial sector stakeholders, social policy makers, and government. Implementation of the approach will lead to narrowing the existing gap between the demand and supply in the job market. Innovating social and corporate approaches as MTI would contribute to the economic stability, environmental sustainability, and social development.Документ Corporate foresight capability in international business: towards organizational resilience in the fourth industrial revolution context(2021) Danko, Taras; Shyriaieva, N. V.The acceleration of chaotic changes and disruptions caused by the fourth industrial revolution raises the problem of organizational readiness for a highly volatile and turbulent future. This problem is especially vital for international firms whose very existence relies on sustaining their specific advantages on a global scale for a long enough period. In particular, such developments call for a more precise look at corporate foresight cognitive function and its role in sustaining international firms’ organizational resilience in the fourth industrial revolution era. Consequently, there was selected a set of nine public listed MNCs that meet two criteria: fourth industrial revolution organizational recognition and institutionalized corporate foresight. The observed MNCs are Adidas, Bayer, BMW, Ericsson, General Electric, Renault, Henkel, Johnson & Johnson, and Siemens. MNCs of the highest resilience - Adidas, Ericsson, and Johnson & Johnson - are suggested to be viewed as the role models of corporate foresight conversion into the global strategies devised to survive the Fourth Industrial Revolution. At the same time, the lower resilience companies that seek future sensitivity have all the chances to straighten up their results in the near future. Their current behavior is of extreme interest for further in-depth study.Публікація Corporate social responsibility as a defensive tool in Vuca-world: view from the marketing perspective(2021) Brin, P.
