A dynamic model of the planetary wheel gear in trolleybus transmission is represented as a linear oscillatory multimass system. The effect of the number of satellites, their stiffness and rigidity of support shalf-bridge is researched on main frequency of free oscillations of the system. The possibility of variations of first and second frequencies values of main gear is shown in a wide range of frequency spectrum. These results of determination the natural frequencies of the gearbox are necessary foundation for study of forced vibrations of the system, developing of methods for reducing the vibration activity of excitation source and task solution of vibration protection for trolleybuses transmission.
