А.The article deals with a number of advanced schemes of design of system of applied action, which is part of the system of controlling the steam-air stamping hammers . The use of such systems of applied action in modern steam-air stamping hammers would reduce the changeover from one impact to another (from minimum to maximum energy), improve the control accuracy of impact energy and, consequently, the reliability of the most loaded parts and components of hammers .
