Від 1995 року кафедра мала назву "Економіка і маркетинг", первісна назва – кафедра економки і організації машинобудівної промисловості, була заснована в 1984 році. Від дня заснування кафедри нею завідував доктор економічних наук, професор Анатолій Іванович Яковлєв. Йому присвоєно почесне звання Заслуженого працівника народної освіти України та обрано Академіком Академії інженерних наук України. Ім'я Яковлєва А. І. внесено до біографічного словника "Видатні люди ХХ століття" Міжнародного бібліографічного центру в м. Кембрідж.

The Analysis of Common Mistakes in Preparing a Business Plan

When writing a business plan, there arise a number of unresolved issues related to its consequent implementation, which is of considerable interest and determines the relevance of the study. The need to develop theoretical and methodological support for drafting business plans has determined a range of issues that require immediate resolution at stages of its development, in particular at the stage of creating a new business ("start up"); the stage of compiling financial documents; the stage of risk assessment and developing strategies to overcome them. Based on the analysis and systematization of the existing definitions, the notion of "business plan" is generalized and a methodological scheme of its building is demonstrated. The comparison of a general structure of a business plan proposed by EBRR and UNIDO is considered and presented. It is found that common mistakes that occur at compiling a business plan include: mistakes associated with evaluation of the demand for products; mistakes at setting prices and choosing a further pricing policy; mistakes associated with underestimation of possible risks arising in the course of the business plan implementation should be mentioned. The obtained results can be applied by heads of enterprises and managers in various spheres of business and at making decisions on forming further strategies of the enterprise development.

Analysis of economic activity, which is also called the business analysis, is a system of special knowledge, based on the laws of development and functioning of systems and aimed at understanding the methodology of assessing, diagnosing and forecasting the financial and economic activities of an enterprise. "Analysis of economic activity" course of study is designed for both full time and correspondence students of the specialties 071 "Accounting and taxation" and 073 "Management". The subject of business analysis is the business processes of enterprises, their socio-economic efficiency and the final financial results of activity, which are formed under the influence of objective and subjective factors, which are reflected through the system of economic information.

The variety of applications makes the tools used in practice quite flexible. In practice, problems arise (for example, the problem of efficient technology transfer), which are often more complex than those that are solved using traditional approaches.
Assessment of patent value using its citation index

Using the example of patents, the issue of assessing the value of intellectual property objects is highlighted, taking into account the indicator (index) of their citations in scientific literature. A study of the types of patent citations was conducted, to which the authors include citations from an article to a patent, from a patent to a patent, from a patent to an article. It is proposed to use criteria for classification of patent citations using two indicators. Firstly, taking into account the scope of use of the citation - whether in the field of scientific action of the patent or beyond it, and secondly, taking into account the subject of citation - the citation is carried out by another patent owner or self-citation is carried out by the owner of this patent. Peculiarities of patent citation in comparison with methods of traditional citation of scientific works are revealed. For the first time, special attention is paid to the nature of the citation itself: positive or negative. It is substantiated that taking into account in the calculation of the citation index quotes with a negative content contributes to the decline of scientific discussion, since the mention of opponents in ranking articles directly affects the value of their citation index, which does not always objectively reproduce the actual scientific merits of one or another scientist.

The study of the evolution of the economic security of the business entity has shown that at the present stage of economic development it is important to consider the factors of influence on economic security, in particular: the effectiveness of management, personnel and financial safety, a strategic approach to the functioning of the communication system of protection, taking into account the evolution of security and active search for innovative modern domains of development of industrial organizations and increase of the responsibility of performers for the consequences of their work. This allows to reduce the risk of loss of economic safety of the business entity. It was argued that innovative conceptualization of risk as a probable threat of losses lies within the scope of activity of managers of various units and has features of probable economic and objective-subjective nature, as well as a wide range of variability of the impact on the issues of economic safety and is conditioned by the dynamic development of important societal significant economic processes at the global and national levels, which ultimately contributes to enhancement of the organization’s competitive advantages.

The article gives a scientific analysis of the term «compliance» is used to denote the continuous efforts of the organization to comply with all applicable domestic and foreign laws, regulations and rules applicable to its activities, including its own internal corporate policies and procedures. For many years compliance was of great significance only in industries that have traditionally heavily regulated, such as healthcare and financial services. However, after the entry into force of the anti-corruption legislation in Ukraine in all industries have been regulated tightly enough, and for each legal entity (or unit) there was a need for tight monitoring of compliance with industrial enterprises of the countless existing laws, rules and regulations. Ultimately, the essence of a robust compliance program is not only to avoid investigation, but for the most part in the formation of the ethical environment in which business can thrive.

The Creation of Dynamic Visual Objects as a Factor for Optimizing Advertisements in E-Commerce

The aim of the study is to find ways to optimize advertising on Facebook product galleries and on Google. An experiment conducted as part of the study showed that the use of the dynamic optimization tool allows you to enrich existing feed data with additional 1st and 3rd party data and automatically compile visuals with additional information obtained from the feed and additional graphical overlays. The proposed method was tested on Facebook and Google with an analysis of click through rate, conversion rate and conversion cost indicators. The research results showed that the use of the dynamic optimization tool improves the effectiveness of online advertising, all the studied indicators has improved on both platforms. The Covid-19 pandemic has boosted the development of online retail and has created an urgent need to transform digital marketing tools. It has been established that in order to increase the conversion of sites and improve the quality of communication with the audience a deeper study of the behavioral characteristics of visitors of Internet resources, as well as high-quality visual content of the ad placements, are required. The results obtained complement to the few literature sources devoted to creating enriched feeds on various Internet companies, so the work is of significant interest for marketers and business owners who work in the field of e-commerce.
Customs Regulations and Risk Management and Town Planning Marketing on the Way to Smart Cities in the Global Economy

In a rapidly changing and technologically developed world, the adaptation of customs provisions in the direction of smart cities is becoming more and more relevant. European cities are leading the way in implementing innovations that are transforming traditional approaches to customs management and town marketing. The purpose of the article is to analyze the smartization strategies of cities in Europe, focusing on the integration of customs directives and risk management in this process by studying their impact on the global economy. The article provides a detailed overview of official reports on the processes of intellectualization of modern cities, reveals current trends and the development of the latest technologies used in European smart cities. The results show that the effective management of customs standards significantly contributes to the optimization of city operations, increasing transparency and attracting investment. The importance of such an approach is reinforced by the analysis of town planning marketing, which includes the creation of a city brand and the promotion of innovative projects. The conclusions of the work indicate the need for further research in this area and the development of comprehensive strategies that would take into account both the technological and socio-economic aspects of the smartization of cities through the strengthening of urban infrastructure. The resulting data can serve as a basis for the formation of effective development policies and strategies that can accelerate the integration of cities into the global economy, contributing to the creation of sustainable and innovative urban environments through customs procedures and the management of challenges to legislation.

Decision making on the direction of investment in the development of separate parameters of agricultural equipment

The object of research is the process of self-financing, as a leading direction in the system of investment support for the development of business entities. One of the most problematic places in resolving this issue is prioritizing these investments. During the study, the statistical method is used to analyze and summarize statistical information and the methods of cluster analysis and k-means to classify the main groups of indicators of technical and operational and economic and marketing parameters for the use of agricultural machinery. As well as methods of matrix analysis and multidimensional spaces – for the positioning of enterprises and the rationale for the choice of investment areas. The paper proposes theoretical and methodological principles and conclusions, which together solve an important practical problem – the need to search for areas of investment in the development of individual parameters of agricultural machinery. The analysis of the state and characteristics of the activities of agricultural engineering enterprises of Ukraine is made. The necessity of breakthrough development of the machine-building sector of the agro-industrial complex is emphasized. It is noted that most of the Ukrainian enterprises producing agricultural machinery have outdated equipment, so they need re-equipment and significant financial injections. When classifying the priority areas of investment, it is found that agricultural machinery, which is now produced by Ukrainian engineering enterprises, needs to be completely changed. Therefore, a list of stages for the selection of areas for improving tractor equipment is proposed. The proposed approach to determining the priority of investing provides for the classification of quality indicators according to the priority of their improvement according to a certain algorithm. The investment areas are evaluated and it is established that the final decision on investing in the development of certain parameters of agricultural machinery can be made by improving only those indicators of a certain group that were obtained using clustering. Due to the simplicity of the proposed approach, it can be applied not only for agricultural engineering, but also for other enterprises of the economic complex of Ukraine. Compared with similar well-known approaches, its use will allow more accurate research and obtain the necessary data for targeted investment in the face of limited funds.

Determination of lost profits of rightholders from counterfeit goods

The processes of exclusive rights violation of the manufacturers of original (licensed) products on the technological market are investigated. It is proposed methodical approaches concerning economic valuation of the amount of lost profits of the rights holders (licensees) in violation of intellectual property rights, the amount of which is firstly connected by the authors with the degree of use the copyright of their manufacturing facilities. It is developed a block-structured approach to the definition of missed potential opportunities of right holders and it is proposed economic and mathematical models for their determination.
