Approximate calculation of the basic parameters of energodinamic processes starting and stopping planetary drive

The paper presents a simplified engineering method, which at the stage of conceptual design allows you to define the parameters of the preliminary processes starting and stopping of the planetary drive. Introduction of the proposed simplifications, gives an opportunity to solve a differential equation of motion of the inertial elements of the dynamic model of the drive.

Central and East European countries’ attitudes towards the EU

This article aims to explain attitudes towards the European Union in Central and East European countries. We propose a model that combines economic and political variables at two levels of explanation: the individual and the national. Using a cross-sectional time series data set compiled from Central and Eastern Euro barometer surveys, we demonstrate that individual attitudes towards domestic economic and political reforms are good predictors of citizens' attitudes towards the European Union in Central and East European countries. Macro dimensions, such as economic and political performance, have an impact on attitudes towards the EU, particularly in candidate countries. Finally, a multiplicative model with interaction effects between the individual level and the macro level suggests that attitudes have a stronger impact if the domestic conditions are good. If the country is in bad shape, the attitudes are less relevant.

Розроблені визначальні співвідношення впроваджено в формі структурних моделей для аналізу пошкоджуваності в часі термоізоляції лопаток газових турбін авіаційних двигунів, для аналізу міцності та тривалої міцності, для забезпечення безпечної роботи лопаток газових турбін авіаційних двигунів.
The effect of gear geometry on the thickness of tooth face hardened layer

This article describes the effect of the geometrical parameters of the standard involute and non-standard convex-concave (C-C) gearing on the thickness of the hardened layer. The thickness of hardened layer is important from the aspect of wear on gearing. In case of involute gearing is the thickness of the hardened layer defined by various authors, what is on the other hand determinated also by the standard STN 01 4686-5. In case of C-C gearing there are not available any standards, and therefore it is possible to determine the thickness of the hardened layer only by the means of modern simulation methods.
The emission current from dissipation means and lightning arresters as a quality data

The experimental test results of impulse current characteristics from devices called dissipaters and lightning arresters (air terminals) of different types are considered. the correlation between current flowing through the shunt and voltage between the plates shows that the fixed curve refers to the charge current of the apacitance between plates but not emission current. It is necessary to consider the emission current as the current of streamers that are explicitly visible on oscillogram. The time an dissipater devices and lightning arresters needs to generate the first streamer could reflect it’s efficiency.

Experimental research of interactive energy saving controller of water supply pump based on flow rate measurement

Results of the experimental research of the interactive control system of water supply pump based on flow rate measurement are reported. A modified algorithm is investigated in which the output signals of the flow rate sensor are used instead of flow rate values. The description of the experimental rig of the water supply system is provided.

Investigation the properties of paint coatings modified by carbon nanostructures

The article presents the results testing the possibility of applying structured solvents using nanomodifiers for the production of water-based paints and pentaphthal. As nanomodifiers used suspensions of carbon nanostructures obtained from the waste by-product coke production – coke dust recovered from plants dust-free coke.

The conceptual frameworks of the marketing audit have been introduced by different contributors since the late 1950s. Nowadays when almost all companies understand the significant role of marketing in an organization they more or less efficiently implement marketing practices. The marketing audit is a fundamental part of the marketing management process. It is the major tool for marketing performance evaluation. Nevertheless, there is no single vision among researchers about how to define marketing audit and how to conduct it.
Mathematical and computer modelling of the load of a section of the transport roller line

A mathematical model describing the mechanical efforts that makes slab of arbitrary length positioned at random on individual rollers of transport roller line. On the basis of this mathematical model the dynamic computer models of static forces on each of the three rollers of the section, driven by a electric motor, while slabs of varying lengths passing on them are developed in a software Matlab/Simulink.
Measurement and compensation of mechanical vibrations in articulations of electromechanical biped robot

We consider practical aspects of measurement and compensation of vibrations in articulations of biped robots. Our approach extracts angular oscillations information using two types of sensors mounted at the extremity of articulation: two axis inclination meter and tree axis accelerometer. Experiments are made to confirm this measurement method. We propose modifications to F.L. Lewis et al. neuronal network vibration compensation algorithm which simplify its practical implementation.

Neuartiges generatorsystem für windkraftanlagen

This paper introduces a novel generator system based on two-stage AC DC AC Direct Power Converter and Brushless Doubly-Fed Machine. This combination of converter and generator allows a dynamic torque control at low installed inverter power and simultaneous abandonment of the slip ring system and voluminous intermediate storage elements. In this paper the simulation results of generator system using Matlab/Simulink and Plecs-Toolbox simulation software are presented.
Nuclear power plants as the balancing source in fulfillment of energy requirements – forecast up to 2030

The energetic management in most of the countries, mainly based on the hard coal and lignite consumption, must be changed up to 2030 and the natural gas energy as well renewable energy should be more and more significant. As the energy forecast up to 2030 for Poland shows, taking into consideration growth the national requirement and the necessity of lowering the environmental pollution (being the effect of Union Directives), it is necessary to introduce the nuclear energy into energetic balance. The paper shows that the energy development decision makers took into account renewable energy and nuclear energy, which were neglected in the past by the government and ignored by coal energy producers. The newest data of nuclear energy in energy balances of various countries were presented.
Precise computer models of the induction machine in the Matlab/Simulink

Based on mathematical model of induction machine in orthogonal coordinate system, rotating with arbitrary angular speed, the computer model of this machine in software of Matlab/Simulink is built. The development of this model is relatively easy given the opportunity to consider in it the major deviations from the idealized: iron losses, saturation the main magnetic path and the paths of leakage magnetic flux, current displacement in squirrel-cage winding of rotor.
