Документ Possibilities of application of hard thin coatings in HCR gearing working in interaction with ecological lubricant(NTU "KhPI", 2018) Bošanský, Miroslav; Tóth, František; Rusnák, JurajThe article describes the possibilities of application of hard thin coatings to a non-standard involute HCR gearing, made from 16MnCr5, working in interaction with ecological transmission oil OMV Biogear S150. Based on an analysis of their geometric characteristics and their differences from nonstandard C–C teeth, the possibilities of applying thin hard coatings to the side surface of the teeth are assessed. From the previous results obtained at the research center (UDTK sjF STU in Bratislava), the nitride TiALCN was applied and the article presents the results obtained on the Niemann´s stand for scuffing, from which it follows that due to the higher heights of the tooth addendum (hа = 1,2m) compared to the standard (hа = 1,0 m) and hence larger meridians, the greatest damage there was on an addendum of pinion.Документ PVD coating as a possibility to increase the load capacity of gearings to scuffing(НТУ "ХПІ", 2008) Bošanský, Miroslav; Kožuch, I.; Fedák, M.In the article we describe the possibilities of increase of the contact load capacity of unhardened C-C toothed gear. The use of metal coatings proves to be one way. On the basis of a comparison of the individual methods of depositing the coating technology of PVD (physical vapour deposition) proves to be suitable application for the case of gearings. This technology is used for depositing the hard coatings. C-C toothed gear, coated with TiN, in interaction with ecological lubricant was experimentally verified with respect to scuffing on test stand by Niemann and compared to the hardened involvent gearing.Документ The impact of selected environmentally friendly lubricants on the wear of the sliding bearing(НТУ "ХПІ", 2017) Rusnák, Juraj; Kadnár, Milan; Tóth, František; Bošanský, MiroslavThe paper presents the impact analysis of the selected environmentally friendly oils of the same viscosity class on the wear of the defined sliding bearing as a part of sliding matched-pair. Sliding bearing wear was assessed by means of the following parameters: changes in mass loss of the sliding matched-pair; changes in bearing surface roughness in the contact area; and changes in cylindricity tolerance. The results are statistically processed and shown in the provided figures and tables.Документ Tribological experiments in automobile industry(НТУ "ХПІ", 2017) Kadnár, Milan; Rusnák, Juraj; Tkáč, Zdenko; Bošanský, MiroslavThe competitive environment forces producers in automotive industry to decrease the costs. Producers as well as subsuppliers need to find possible savings. The paper presents results of laboratory experiments with real journal bearings made of bimetallic alloy realised to find out possible replacement of a rolling bearing by a journal bearing. The important correlation between results of laboratory experiments with a model of tribological system and the real journal node may by achieved by maximum approach of simulation features by real running conditions. Thus, the given experiment conditions result from the chosen application, i. e. steering servo unit. The experiments were realised on Tribotestor M’06 testing machine.Документ Hard thin coatings and their applications on C60E non-standard gears(НТУ "ХПІ", 2017) Bošanský, MiroslavThe article presents the tribological results of laboratory applications five selected thin hard coating on the three materials used in the manufacture of gears. Based on their evaluation in terms of scratch test nanohardness, coefficient of friction, wear resistance, coating thickness and its structure was DLCI coating applied to the gear of the C-C gearing made of material C60E. Thus coated wheels lubricated with organic oils Biohyd MS46 and BioGear S150 were tested for scuffing to the Niemann´s stand. The test results showed that due to the specific conditions for mating gears is not possible to design a coating for gear based on laboratory tests only, but should be based on what the specific requirements for the gear to be applied coating, ie. what type and kind of gearing and on what material wheels.Документ Effect of tooth shape to size of contact stress noninvolute gearing(НТУ "ХПИ", 2009) Tököly, P.; Gajdoš, M.; Bošanský, MiroslavThe article describes the effect of the tooth shape to the size of the contact stress. Using the geometrical parameters konex-concave gearing can change the tooth profile, which can be achieved by reducing the size of the contact stress. Important role played by reduced radii of curvature, which significantly affect to the size of these stress. Comparative two places around the beginning (point B) and end (point D) on the line of action.Документ The effect of gear geometry on the thickness of tooth face hardened layer(НТУ "ХПИ", 2010) Tököly, P.; Bošanský, Miroslav; Vanya, A.This article describes the effect of the geometrical parameters of the standard involute and non-standard convex-concave (C-C) gearing on the thickness of the hardened layer. The thickness of hardened layer is important from the aspect of wear on gearing. In case of involute gearing is the thickness of the hardened layer defined by various authors, what is on the other hand determinated also by the standard STN 01 4686-5. In case of C-C gearing there are not available any standards, and therefore it is possible to determine the thickness of the hardened layer only by the means of modern simulation methods.Документ Comparison HRC and C-C gearing for damage to pitting(НТУ "ХПИ", 2016) Kopilakova, Beata; Bošanský, Miroslav; Petrak, LubomirIn this article are comparison HCR and Convex-Concave (C-C) gearing from the point of view to pitting. The introduction of the article describes a fundamental difference between the involute HCR and noninvolute (C-C) gearing and the influence of some parameters, especially of the slip ratio to damage of gearing. The paper also shows the basic results of the experiment, which was executed on two types of gearing (involute HCR gearing and noninvolute C-C gearing) on the Niemann's stand from the point of view damage flank of tooth to pitting.
