Приведено декілька визначень терміну "оцінка персоналу", з різних літературних джерел та публікацій, як вітчизняних так і іноземних вчених та дослідників. А також сформовано на їх основі своє визначення. Висвітлено, що головною метою підприємств в умовах конкуренції стає розроблення стратегій розвитку професійної компетентності персоналу підприємства, де головна роль відводиться оцінці, яка спрямована на виявлення потенціалу кожного працівника. Розглянуто систему оцінювання. Побудовано схему складових оцінки персоналу. В кінці приведені висновки по темі статті.The article examines the essence of staff assessment as an important element of the personnel management system. Several definitions of the term "staff assessment" from various literary sources and publications, both domestic and foreign scientists and researchers are given. And they are based on their definition. It is highlighted that the main objective of the enterprises in the conditions of competition is the development of strategies for the development of professional competence of the personnel of the enterprise, where the main role is assigned to the assessment, which is aimed at identifying the potential of each employee. The evaluation system is considered. The scheme of components of personnel as sessment is constructed.
