Автор характеризує принципи правової держави та їх втілення у реальній практиці. Особлива увага приділяється економічним проблемам, що призвели до масового скорочення виробництва, закриття підприємств, зростанню безробіття в Україні. Аналіз світової практики, сучасних наукових досліджень дозволив автору всебічно розкрити принцип народного суверенітету, право Українського народу на управління державою тощо. На підставі принципів правової держави аналізуються проблеми, які необхідно вирішити державі для подолання кризи в Україні, що охопила усі сфери життєдіяльності суспільства. Тільки вирішення цих суттєвих завдань дозволить Україні побудувати громадянське суспільство і правову державу.In the article determination is given to the legal state, civil society, their essence opens up. An author characterizes principles of the legal state and their real display in practice. The special attention is spared to the economic problems, entailing a mass decline in a production, putting up the shutters, height of unemployment in Ukraine. Analysis of international practice, modern scientific researches allowed to the author all-round to expose principle of folk sovereignty, right for the Ukrainian people on a management by the state. Such important forms of direct democracy as elections and referendums are considered in the article. On the basis of analysis of international practice an author suggests to fasten in Constitution of Ukraine a right for people on legislative initiative. On the basis of principles of the legal state problems, that must be decided to the state for overcoming of crisis overcoming all spheres of public life in Ukraine, are analysed.
