Recycling innovation in European circular networks: the case of multinational electrical manufacturing companies [Electronic resource] / Taras Danko, Ralf Wagne, Olena Chaikova // 2023 IEEE 4th KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek) : conf. proc., October 02-06, 2023, Kharkiv, Ukraine / National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" ; Publication Chair Kseniia Minakova. – Electronic text data. – IEEE, 2023. – P. 705-709. – URL: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/10311581https://repository.kpi.kharkov.ua/handle/KhPI-Press/72299The circular economy (CE) concept is gaining prominence in addressing the global sustainability crisis. Multinational electrical manufacturing companies (MNEMCs) play a crucial role in the transition to a CE but face challenges in implementing circular practices. Engagement in circular ecosystems offers opportunities for resource access, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. This study investigates the participation of MNEMCs in European circular networks that are non-profit organizations and focus on recycling innovation. By fitting a regression tree, this study analyzes MNEMCs’ commitment to circular transformation based on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) rankings. By examining MNEMCs’ involvement in European circular networks, it also explores the implications for recycling innovation within the sector. The findings contribute to understanding the dynamics of recycling innovation in the context of MNEMCs operating within European circular networks.encircular economyrecycling innovationmultinational electrical manufacturing companiescircular networkssustainabilityESG rankingsglobal innovation ecosystemsRecycling innovation in European circular networks: the case of multinational electrical manufacturing companiesArticlehttps://doi.org/10.1109/KhPIWeek61412.2023.10311581https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1308-826Xhttps://orcid.org/0000-0002-0220-2154https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3696-0623
