З метою забезпечення надійності і валідності результатів підсумкової атестації випускників технічних ВНЗ в рамках компетентнісного підходу, було використано рівневу або вертикальну шкалу, яка має мінімальний, базовий, проміжний, достатній і високий рівні компетентності; представлені результати експертного оцінювання відповідності навчальних досягнень за змістом кожної компетенції, яке здійснювалося методом ранжування.The article examines the competence approach to assessing the professional training of future technical specialists and their final attestation. It represents a set of general principles for defining goals, selecting content, organizing a learning process and evaluating its results. Leading constructs of competence approach and structural model of competence are presented. The stages of the assessment methodology according to the competencies of candidates for recruitment, which is introduced at modern enterprises, are described. Particular attention is paid to the creation and conduct of professional testing, as the most informative methodology for assessing the competence of a technical specialist . For this purpose it is expedient to use competence tests, oriented on the modern integrative approach to the assessment of the quality of teaching from the perspective of predicting further life successes of students. In the study, in order to ensure the reliability and validity of the results of final certification of graduates of technical universities in the framework of the competence approach, a level or vertical scale was used which has minimal, basic, intermediate, sufficient and high levels of competence.
