Abstract
The article is dedicated to the modernization of the controlling method for the power active filter (PAF). The basic idea is to use extremum
seeking control methods for the synthesis of a new digital control system for PAF. In the course of practical experiments, it
was found that there is some level of voltage of the DC-link PAF capacitor which allows to use PAF in the best regime in terms of
power quality indexes. Using the above fact it was proposed a new control system with extreme regulator and various target functions
for the last one.
The article contains the results of physical modeling of PAF with new control system based on the proposed mathematical apparatus
to confirm the efficiency of the last one.
