Abstract
The principles of forming the current pulses for resistance welding of the cells of fuel assembly frameworks of the atomic pile are reviewed. The value of welding current pulse energy, which provides maximal strength of the welded joints, is obtained. The structure of the power supply, which forms welding current pulses based on the reference signals of power with needed energy, is proposed.
