Abstract
In the article it is analyzed a large number of works that focus on process automation of juice purifying section of sugar factory. Possible ways of forming optimality criterion, which showed its advantages and disadvantages, and limitations that help get products to the required quality are analyzed. The selected optimal criterion in the most fully includes the process parameters and the most important indicators of the juice quality in juice purifying section.
