dc.description.abstractA two-dimensional function of uncertainty takes into account some the essential features of the medium and the instrumental characteristics of the radar. Accounting for this function is necessary to obtain reliable values of the parameters of the ionospheric plasma, determined by the method of incoherent scattering. It is concluded that the use of two-dimensional ambiguity function will increase the accuracy of the analysis of experimental data and improve the resolution of the height.en
