Цифрові технології у розвитку туристичних ресурсів світу: історична еволюція, інноваційна інфраструктура та географічна диференціація

Abstract

У статті досліджено еволюцію туристичної галузі в контексті технологічного поступу людства – від доіндустріальної мобільності до епохи інтелектуального туризму. Встановлено, що кожна з чотирьох технологічних революцій істотно вплинула на трансформацію туристичних практик, ресурсів і соціального залучення, що дозволяє виокремити п'ять ключових етапів історичного розвитку туризму. Особливу увагу приділено впливу сучасних цифрових технологій на формування нової інфраструктури та екосистемного підходу в управлінні туристичною діяльністю. Розглянуто функціональні можливості таких інновацій, як Big Data, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), доповнена та віртуальна реальність (AR/VR), хмарні обчислення, блокчейн і метавсесвіт. Доведено, що ці інструменти формують ядро так званого "розумного туризму" (Smart Tourism), забезпечуючи інтеграцію даних, автоматизацію сервісів, персоналізацію досвіду та сталий розвиток туристичних дестинацій. Особливе місце у дослідженні відведено прикладам національних цифрових екосистем – Tourism Digital Hub в Італії та Smart Destination Platform в Іспанії – як зразкам ефективного поєднання цифрових інновацій, державного управління й участі малого та середнього бізнесу. Узагальнено, що цифровізація туризму змінює парадигму споживання туристичних послуг, сприяє глобалізації досвіду, розширенню доступу до культурних і природних ресурсів, а також формує нову архітектуру взаємодії між туристами, об'єктами і сервісами. Представлені висновки підкреслюють стратегічну значущість цифрових технологій у забезпеченні сталого, конкурентоспроможного та інклюзивного розвитку світової туристичної індустрії.

Digital technologies in the development of global tourism resources: historical evolution, innovative infrastructure and geographical differentiation The article explores the evolution of the tourism industry in the context of humanity’s technological progress – from pre-industrial mobility to the era of Intelligent Tourism. It is established that each of the four technological revolutions has significantly influenced the transformation of tourism practices, resources, and social engagement, allowing for the identification of five key stages in the historical development of tourism. Particular attention is given to the impact of modern digital technologies on shaping new infrastructure and an ecosystem-based approach to tourism management. The study examines the functional capabilities of innovations such as Big Data, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), cloud computing, blockchain, and the metaverse. It is demonstrated that these tools form the core of so-called “Smart Tourism,” enabling data integration, service automation, experience personalization, and the sustainable development of tourist destinations. Special focus is placed on national digital ecosystems – Tourism Digital Hub in Italy and the Smart Destination Platform in Spain – as examples of effective integration of digital innovations, public governance, and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) participation. It is summarized that the digitalization of tourism is transforming the paradigm of tourist service consumption, contributing to the globalization of experiences, expanding access to cultural and natural resources, and shaping a new architecture of interaction between tourists, sites, and services. The presented findings emphasize the strategic importance of digital technologies in ensuring sustainable, competitive, and inclusive growth of the global tourism industry.
