Abstract

Стаття присвячена зародженню і розвитку наукової школи механіки і прикладної математики НТУ "ХПІ" у період з 1930 по 1980 роки. Ця школа зробила вагомий внесок як у розвиток механіки твердого тіла, що деформується, так і в її практичне застосування для самих передових зразків техніки, таких, як парові та газові турбіни, танкові та тепловозні силові установки та ін. Доведено, що вчені-механіки ХПІ завжди прагнули вирішувати найважливіші, престижні завдання, продиктовані новими напрямами у розвитку техніки. Випускники кафедри створюють унікальні системи управління не тільки для аерокосмічних об'єктів, а й для атомної енергетики, турбобудування та інших наукомістких галузей. І надалі НТУ "ХПІ" буде розвиватися у відповідності до вимог ринку праці та прикладних наук.The paper is devoted to the origin and development in the period from 1930 to 1980 of the scientific school of mechanics and applied mathematics of NTU "KhPI". This school made a significant contribution both to the development of deformable solid mechanics and to its practical application to the most advanced examples of technology, such as steam and gas turbines, tank and locomotive power plants, etc. It is proven that KhPI mechanical scientists have always sought to solve the most important, prestigious tasks dictated by new directions in the development of technology.
