Abstract

Розглядається ідея керівництва читанням та гігієни читання у працях теоретиків документознавста кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ ст., її вплив на уявлення про «нового читача», практики його конструювання в контексті сучасних студій з історії і культури читання, в тому числі, на прикладі історії ХДНБ імені В. Г. Короленка та інших бібліотек Харкова і губернії кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ ст.

Designing the reader and reading, at the level of language and level of systematization, in Modern period, and during the beginning of the XXI century, remains generally common. So, the idea of reading management and hygiene of reading in the works of intellectuals of the late XIX – early XX century and its impact on the presentation of the new reader and the practice of its producing in the context of contemporary studios on the History of the Culture of reading, including, for example, the history of V. Korolenko library and other libraries of Kharkov is explored.
