Документ Mechanical and Thermoelectric Properties of PbSe1-xTex Solid Solutions(Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, 2018) Vodoriz, O. S.; Tavrina, T. V.; Rogachova, O. I.The microhardness, Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity of PbSe1-xTex (x = 0 – 0.045) solid solutions were investigated at room temperature. In the range of small concentrations of PbTe (in the vicinity of x = 0.01 and x = 0.02) an anomalous decrease in microhardness, increase in Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity were registered. The concentration anomalies were interpreted as the transition from diluted to concentrated solid solutions when the interaction between impurity atoms starts to make a significant contribution to the change of the properties of materials.Документ Prospectives for Applying of Nanocoatings on Instrumental Tools(2020) Dubonosov, V. S.The paper is devoted to development of technology and equipment for obtaining of protective reinforcing and heat-shielding thin-film coatings with controlled structure and their usage in production of tools with improved operating characteristics in technological engineering. Recent times much of attention has been paid to creating of wear-resistant hardening coatings and development of multilayer nanosized coatings. By changing the application parameters of such coatings, one can control the composition, particle size, morphology as well as thickness and number of individual layers. Due to this, they can be easily adapted to obtain optimal physical and mechanical properties. The most effective method for coating of cutting tools is ion-plasma vacuum-arc coating deposition (Arc-PVD) which is characterized by high deposition rate and high ionization degree of the vaporized material providing increased adhesion strength of a coating, and this is the main objective of the article.Документ Thermal conductivity of PbSe1-xTex (x = 0 – 0.04) solid solutions(Institute of Thermoelectricity National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 2020) Nikolaenko, G. V.The dependence of lattice thermal conductivity λL of pressed samples of PbSe1-xTex solid solutions on the composition (x = 0 – 0.04) at a temperature of 325 K is obtained. The λL(х) curve shows a maximum near х = 0.0075. Measurement of the temperature dependence of λL in the range of 150-600 K showed that a concentration anomaly in the same range of compositions is also observed on the composition dependence of power factor β in the temperature dependence of λL . The non-monotonic character of the λL(х) and β(х) dependences is associated with critical phenomena accompanying the transition of the percolation type from dilute to concentrated solid solutions. In the study and practical application of PbSe1-xTex solid solutions, it is necessary to take into account the non monotonic nature of the change in thermal conductivity with composition.
