З 1961 р. у ХПІ видається збірник наукових праць "Вісник Харківського політехнічного інституту".
Згідно до наказу ректора № 158-1 від 07.05.2001 року "Про упорядкування видання вісника НТУ "ХПІ", збірник був перейменований у Вісник Національного Технічного Університету "ХПІ".
Вісник Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут" включено до переліку спеціалізованих видань ВАК України і виходить по серіях, що відображають наукові напрямки діяльності вчених університету та потенційних здобувачів вчених ступенів та звань.
Зараз налічується 30 діючих тематичних редколегій. Вісник друкує статті як співробітників НТУ "ХПІ", так і статті авторів інших наукових закладів України та зарубіжжя, які представлені у даному розділі.

The role of translation in cross-cultural communication

The processes of translation as a separate type of communication, and examines the types of linguistic competence in the communication process that are associated with the transfer of information is studied in the article. The obstacles that arise during translation are identified, and the translation process is revealed as a result and act of communication. Practical translation methods are identified. It enables maximum improvement of translation and minimization of all difficulties arising in the translation process. The use of various methods and techniques of active learning arouses students' interest in the educational and cognitive activity itself, which enables creating an atmosphere of motivated, creative learning and at the same time solving a whole range of educational, educational, developmental tasks. It is also appropriate to add that cross-cultural competence cannot be fully utilized without the ability to conduct business negotiations, express one's opinion clearly, and also without knowledge of the general provisions of business ethics.
Innovative approaches to teaching at higher educational institutions in examples and tasks

The importance of teaching students at higher educational institutions by innovating study methods is investigated. Main innovative approaches were investigated. The usage of cases and projects in classes are studied. It is discussed that classic case promotes the development of independent decision-making skills, the second purpose of working with the case in the classroom is a communicative practice. It is described possible projects in the article. Innovative approaches for the formation of critical thinking skills is described in the article. It was determined that the systematic usage of the innovative approaches at higher educational institutions makes gave possibillity to effectively soft skills formation.

The importance of teaching students a foreign language by innovating study methods is investigated. It is being set that it is necessary to strengthen the communicative component when teaching a foreign language as a foreign language. The usage of cases in classes are investigated. It is studied that classic case promotes the development of independent decision-making skills, the second purpose of working with the case in the classroom is a communicative practice. It is described possible cases and presents the development of the proposed concept in the article. Case study technology for the formation of critical thinking skills is described in the article. It was determined that the systematic use of the case study method in the study of the English language makes it possible to effectively form critical thinking skills. The article is devoted to the study of the formation of professional competences during the training of specialists in field translation, in particular, the regularities of English-Ukrainian translation. It is determined by the need for a comprehensive study of the linguistic, cultural, and psychological features of English-Ukrainian translation in the field. Such professional competences of field translation are gaining great importance today, as the expansion of socio-political, economic, and cultural ties between states is observed. Professional competence main aspects are investigated. A comprehensive analysis of professional competence formation while training field translation specialists is performed. Peculiarities of professional competence formation are revealed. Exploring main aspects of training field translation is described. The importance of professional competence formation while training field translation specialists is analyzed. It has been proved that training translation is of great importance for the country for establishing international relationships around the world. Professional competence main aspects are investigated. A comprehensive analysis of professional competence formation while training field translation specialists is performed. Peculiarities of professional competence formation are revealed. Exploring main aspects of training field translation is described. It is determined that it is important for a translator to have professional competence. The results of this work are very important and necessary for further study of the field translation specialists training. The materials of the article consider the possibilities for determining the goals of education of university students in order to further develop the components of complex projects. Developments have been carried out using modern, highly efficient, science-based technologies for the use of raw materials, for example, from the types of analysis of raw materials and products to the choice of polymer packaging and packaging at various stages of operation and disposal. Examples and some features of possible learning solutions based on experimental data of development of mechanisms of identification-classification of processes and their scientific substantiation in the form of objects of intellectual property are presented.

A comprehensive analysis of the translation of startup projects from Ukrainian into English using the latest information and communication technologies in this process. Peculiarities of using modern ICT in translating the description of startup projects from Ukrainian into English are obvious. Exploring the use of information and computer technology in the translation process. It is determined that it is important for a translator of a startup project to understand all the features of using the software, choose the appropriate programs or online tools and develop a strategy for the translation process in the project. The results of this work are very important and necessary for further study of the features of the use of ICT in the translation of startup projects. The role of the translator in the startup project is analyzed. It has been proven that translation is an important and necessary element of a startup project for establishing relationships with potential clients around the world. The success of a project depends on the translation of many types of documentation: application, presentations, website, CVs, financial calculations, required audio and video materials, agreements and other types of legal and economic documentation. The translator as a member of the startup team needs to understand the key topic and main trends of the industry in order to efficiently translate the project. It was found that the translator works with the special patent, legal and economic documentation depending on the field and the main purpose of the project. The tasks of linguists will be solved more successfully with the help of modern information and computer technologies. The usage of information and computer technology in the translation process was explored. It is determined that it is important for a startup project translator to understand all the features of using the software, choose the appropriate programs or online tools and develop a strategy for the project translation process. The results of this work are very important and necessary for further study of the features of the ICT usage in the startup projects translation, in particular, the final projects of the Startup School of Poltava Polytechnic.
Методичні аспекти реформування дистанційного навчання в системі вищої освіти

Стаття присвячена дослідженню складових дистанційного навчання та технологічним і методичним аспектам реформування дистанційного навчання у системі вищої освіти. У дослідженні виділено тенденції реформування дистанційного навчання у системі вищої освіті. Розкриті технологічні та методичні аспекти реформування дистанційного навчання в системі вищої освіти, зокрема: застосування інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій, захист інтелектуальної власності, створення електронних курсів, розробка дидактичних основ дистанційного навчання, підготовка педагогів-координаторів. Визначено напрями реалізації стратегії розвитку дистанційного навчання: розробка теоретичних моделей діагностики та моніторингу якості освіти; розробка системи критеріїв та засобів діагностики та моніторингу якості освіти; розробка організаційно-управлінських моделей і технологій управління якістю освіти.
Intellectual property protection in distance education system

Main aspects of intellectual property protection in the implementation of distance learning are studied. The relevance based on the need of implementation distance learning and the use of the opportunities offered by e-learning. The problem of the protection intellectual property in distance education. It is determined that technical means should provide a program of students' work on the content of the educational material (program of its learning process), a combination of training and education functions, strengthening the control and self-control of the process and its results of the process of learning knowledge, assistance in implementing the ideas of differential and problem learning.
