З 1961 р. у ХПІ видається збірник наукових праць "Вісник Харківського політехнічного інституту".
Згідно до наказу ректора № 158-1 від 07.05.2001 року "Про упорядкування видання вісника НТУ "ХПІ", збірник був перейменований у Вісник Національного Технічного Університету "ХПІ".
Вісник Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут" включено до переліку спеціалізованих видань ВАК України і виходить по серіях, що відображають наукові напрямки діяльності вчених університету та потенційних здобувачів вчених ступенів та звань.
Зараз налічується 30 діючих тематичних редколегій. Вісник друкує статті як співробітників НТУ "ХПІ", так і статті авторів інших наукових закладів України та зарубіжжя, які представлені у даному розділі.

    The importance of ICT usage implementation in the startup project machine translation is analyzed. It has been studied that translation is of great importance for any startup project for establishing relationships with potential clients around the world. The role of the translator in the startup project is studied. Translation has been proved to be important for any startup project to build relationships with potential clients around the world. A comprehensive analysis of the translation of startup projects from Ukrainian into English using the latest information and communication technologies in this process. Peculiarities of using modern ICT in translating the description of startup projects from Ukrainian into English are obvious. Exploring the use of information and computer technology in the translation process. It is determined that it is important for a translator of a startup project to understand all the features of using the software, choose the appropriate programs or online tools and develop a strategy for the translation process in the project. The results of this work are very important and necessary for further study of the features of the use of ICT in the translation of startup projects. Startup projects machine translation strategy is given in examples and problems for better understanding.

    European distance learning experience at higher educational institutions in ukraine

    The problem of European distance learning experience implementation at higher educational institutions of Ukraine is considered. The relevance of the article due to the need of implementation of distance learning and use of the opportunities offered by on-line learning. Existing practices and methods of ensuring the quality of distance learning, which create the necessary foundation for scientific achievements are systematized and analyzed in the article. The study of conceptual ideas of distance education in the European Higher Education Area, the definition of further perspectives for the development of domestic practices in the implementation of information and communication technologies in the distance education is investigated. The comparative analysis is based on sources of information collected and analyzed using European countries standards for monitoring colleges and universities.

    Digital economy and society in Hungary and Ukraine

    We live in the Digital Age in which both economy and society have been transforming significantly. The Internet and the connected digital devices are inseparable parts of our daily life and the engine of the economic growth. In this paper, first I analyzed the status of digital economy and society in Hungary, then compared it with Ukraine and made conclusions regarding the future development tendencies. Using secondary data provided by the European Commission I investigated the five components of the Digital Economy and Society Index of Hungary. I performed cross country analysis to find out the significant differences between Ukraine and Hungary in terms of access to the Internet and device use including smartphones, computers and tablets. Based on my findings, I concluded that Hungary is more developed in terms of the significant parameters of the digital economy and society than Ukraine, but even Hungary is an emerging digital nation. Considering the high growth rate of Internet, tablet and smartphone penetration in both countries, I expect faster progress in the development of the digital economy and society in Hungary and Ukraine.

    Розглянуті підходи до застосування мобільного навчання в системі освіти, визначена сутність мобільного навчання, його співвідношення з дистанційним й електронним навчанням, а також окреслені його переваги і недоліки. Запропоновано моделі впровадження мобільного навчання в навчальний процес вищих навчальних закладів. Наведений опис розробленого мобільного додатку інформаційно-навчального призначення, який націлений на інтеграцію мобільних технологій в організацію навчального процесу кафедри Інформаційно-телекомунікаційних технологій та систем інституту інформаційних технологій Івано-Франківського національного технічного університету нафти і газу.
