Лідерські якості та менеджмент в управлінні академічною бібліотекою

Abstract

Метою публікації є дослідження ролі лідерських якостей та менеджменту для ефективного управління бібліотекою університету. Проведено аналіз змісту понять «лідерство» та «менеджмент». Описано роль лідерських якостей в моделі ефективного управління персоналом. Визначено, що ефективним є успішне поєднання управлінських навичок керівника з якостями лідера. Це сприяє оптимальному використанню всіх наявних ресурсів організації задля досягнення поставлених цілей і завдань в умовах невизначеності.The goal of this publication is to explore the role of leadership qualities and management in effectively managing an academic library. An analysis of the content of the definitions «leadership» and «management» has been conducted. The role of leadership qualities in the model of effective staff management is described. It is determined that the successful combination of managerial skills of a leader with leadership qualities contributes to the optimal use of all available organizational resources to achieve set goals and objectives in conditions of uncertainty.
