Abstract

The desire of experts, researchers, developers and producers of the electrotechnical and instrument-making equipment to continue the business in difficult conditions of the beginning of the 90th years was the main prerequisite of creation of the «Energosberezheniye» international consortium (MKE). Interest of leading enterprises and organizations of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus in the first "domestic" IGBT frequency converters with microprocessor control created in Kharkov in 1991-1993 years became a direct prerequisite. MKE created in January, 1995 allowed to organize cooperation of all interested enterprises. As a result, in 1996 production of IGBT frequency converters with power up to 100 kW in Russia and Belarus began. Later production of frequency converters with power up to 315, 1000 kW and more in Ukraine began. Production of frequency converters for severe operating conditions began. MKE also renders services in researches and development of methods, equipment and systems for domestic and foreign customers.
