Abstract
The paper considers peculiar properties for the sodium ferrate synthesis in strong alkaline solution from recycled ironcontaining materials. It is shown, that presence protective Zn, Sn and Cr coatings in anode mateial leads to contamination of electrolyte with their soluble compounds. Practical recommendations for increase process efficiency has been formulated.
