Abstract

The paper proposes a mathematical model of the mechanics of the cutting process and provides analytic-tions to determine the dependence of the main parameters of the power intensity of the cutting process, including cutting force, the energy intensity of the treatment, the shrinkage factor chips. Theoretically, it is shown that the main way to reduce them is to improve the conditions of chip by reducing the radial component of cutting force using Varies ways crushing chips, reducing the coefficient of friction of the treated instrumentally and second materials, changing the angle of the chip from the front face of the blade, etc
