Першокурсник НТУ "ХПІ": хто він?

Abstract

У статті зроблено спробу з’ясувати основні характеристики студентського контингенту, що складає перший курс університету. До числа таких характеристик традиційно віднесено мотивацію отримання вищої освіти та вступу саме до НТУ «ХПІ», основні мотиви вибору абітурієнтами певної спеціальності та чинники формування професійного інтересу, певні підходи ло розбудови життєвих стратегій після закінчення університету й відношення щодо можливого виїзду для продовження навчання за кордон та перспектив залишитися для постійного перебування та праці за кордоном. Наголошується на необхідності вивчення проблеми формування та реалізації життєвих стратегій студентської молоді. Визначаються можливі напрями діяльності щодо використання інформації яка характеризує студентів-першокурсників у навчальній, організаційній, виховній та профорієнтаційної роботі в університеті.

The article attempts to clarify the main characteristics of the student contingent that makes up the first year of the university. Among such characteristics traditionally include motivation to receive higher education and admission to NTU «KhPI», the main motives for the selection of applicants for certain specialties and factors of formation of professional interest, some approaches to the formation of life strategies for the period after graduation at the university, the attitude to a possible exit to continue studying abroad and to stay there for permanent residence and work abroad. The emphasis is on the need to study the problem of forming and realizing the life strategies of student youth. Possible directions of activity on using information about first-year students in educational, organizational, educational and career-oriented work are defined.
