Еволюційна біологія: на шляху до постнекласичної науки

Abstract

Еволюційна біологія сформувалась в окрему дисципліну майже 80 років тому, але з того часу її проблемне поле суттєво розширилось, пере- творивши цей розділ біології на міждисциплінарний напрям досліджень. Нині еволюційна біологія є важливим об'єктом вивчення для філософії науки через можливість аналізу характеру зростання наукового знання і виділення рис, характерних для перетворення на пост-некласичну науку.The branch of biology, called evolutionary biology, was formed as a separate discipline around 80 years ago. Based initially on theories of neo-Darwinism and Mendel’s ideas on heredity its problem field has considerably expanded, transforming this branch of biology into an interdisciplinary research field. Currently, evolutionary biology is an important object of research for the philosophy of science due to two reasons. Firstly, this discipline is a telling example of rapid development and transformation of scientific paradigm that makes evolutionary biology an object for analysis of nature of the growth of scientific knowledge. Secondly, due to its interdisciplinary character, it has traits symptomatic for transformation into postnon-classical (postnormal) science.
