Abstract

Life and activity of I.P. Lubyanov, the prominent representative of Dniepropetrovsk hydrobiological school, whose works became the fundamentals for freshwater radioecology formation in Ukraine, are considered. It is indicated on perception of traditions and logic of previous works of Dniepropetrovsk hydrobiological school by I.P. Lubyanov and his participation in the subsequent forming of this school.
