Abstract

The scientific cally-organizational activity of one of the oldest orthopedic-trauma establishments of our country State institution “Institution of pathology of backbone and joints the name of prof. M. I. Sytenko is illuminated in the XXth century. The role of the institute is shown in development of principles of organization orthopedic-trauma help to the population of country, in creation of the system of establishments, rendering such help.
