Abstract

Thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences in specialty 05.11.17 - biological and medical devices and systems. National Technical University "Kharkov Polytechnic Institute", Kharkov, 2018. The work is devoted to the development of methods of systemic ozone therapy, in particular, methods of ozonization of saline and extracorporeal treatment with ozone of large volumes of blood, with the aim of improving their quality and technical means for correct procedures. The proposed models of the interaction of the ozone-oxygen mixture with a physiological solution, which take into account the properties of the ozonation of the saline solution, made it possible to determine the parameters of the ozone-oxygen mixture for the correct ozonation of the saline solution. Further development has been gained by the method of intravenous infusion of OFR, which, by automating the process of preparing saline solution and controlling the concentration of ozone in it, by improving the design of the automatic ozone unit and additional technical means, has improved the quality of the procedures. For the first time, a method was developed for assessing the quality of procedures for intravenous infusion of ozonized physiological solution, which is based on the calculation of economic efficiency and medical performance and allows for the analysis of existing methods for preparing ozonized physiological solution and its further use. A new method of extracorporeal ozonization and oxygenation of blood is proposed, which is based on the effect of the ozone-oxygen mixture on the artificially formed blood surface in a heterophase rotary film-contactor gas-to-blood, which significantly increases the volume of blood that is processed. Based on the data of model and experimental studies of the interaction of the ozone-oxygen mixture with the surface of the blood film, which is updated on the inner surface of the glass tube, which rotates, it is proved that the proposed rotary film contactor meets the safety requirements of its use in terms of ozone resistance materials in contact with blood and the effectiveness of the procedure of extracorporal treatment of large volumes of blood with ozone.
