Общей причиной такого интереса, является усиление роли логистического менеджмента. Современные корпоративные информационные системы позволяют оперативно и надежно получить данные о потребности величины запаса по всей номенклатуре запасных частей оборудования металлургического предприятия. Создание эффективной политики управления запасами запасных частей на предприятии является одним из узких мест металлургического производства.
