Abstract
The heat optimization for artillery shell to smelt its content in technological process of unloading the out-of-date ammunition is the subject of this article. The heat is carried out by inductive-heating device. The computational investigation is made by the finite element method. The simplex method by J.A.Nelder and R.Mead is applied for optimization.
