Депресивний регіон у системі забезпечення соціально-економічної безпеки

Abstract

У статті розглянуто суть та характерні ознаки типів проблемних регіонів, визначено депресивний регіон як частина проблемного. Узагальнено трактування даної економічної категорії сучасними вітчизняними та зарубіжними вченими-економістами, обґрунтовано визначення сутності депресивного регіону в системі забезпечення соціально-економічної безпеки з метою узагальнення існуючих визначень та подання власного бачення даної категорії в сучасних умовах посилення регіональних диспропорцій, сформовано вимоги до визначення поняття та чинники загострення соціально-економічних проблем депресивних регіонів.

The essence and characteristic features of types of problem regions and the identified as depressed region as part of the problem are discussed in the article.It is generalized the interpretation of this economic category by modern domestic and foreign economists, besides it is determined the essence of depressed regions in the system of social and economic security with the purpose of of existing definitions and submitting own vision this category in the modern conditions of increased regional disparities and it is formed requirements to the definition and factors worsening socio-economic problems of depressed regions. Today ill-considered economic policy contains not only threats affecting the overall macroeconomic situation but increases inter-regional disparities and destabilizes the development of the region. The current situation leads to depressed areas which are characterized by low competitiveness, investment and innovative activity, and consequently high levels of unemployment, poverty and subsidization.
