Methodical instructions for independent work "Assessment of the situation in case of destruction of buildings and structures. Part 2"
    (Національний технічний університет "Харківський політехнічний інститут", 2024) Vambol, S. O.; Mezentseva, I. O.; Ilyinska, O. I.; Yevtushenko, N. S.
These methodological instructions are intended for the independent work of students studying the discipline "Technological and ecological safety in the conditions of industrial and economic activity" in order to clarify the methodology for calculating the assessment of the situation in case of destruction of buildings and structures. According to the study and work plans of the specialty 263, the educational program of the II (master's) level of higher education "Occupational safety", as part of the study of the mandatory professional discipline "Technogenetic-ecological safety in the conditions of industrial and economic activity", students are expected to independently perform the calculation task. Methodical instructions contain practical tasks that will help students to master the modern problems of emergency situations. Independent work of students of higher education is a form of organization of the educational process, which ensures their mastery of educational material in the time free from compulsory educational classes. The existence of this form of organization of the educational process in institutions of higher education is provided for by the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" (Article 50). The content of the independent work of a student of higher education in the academic discipline "Technogenetic-ecological safety in the conditions of industrial and economic activity" is determined by its program, these methodical instructions for independent work, tasks and instructions of the teacher.

Methodical instructions for independent work "Assessment of the situation in the event of an accident on water objects. Part 1"
    (Національний технічний університет "Харківський політехнічний інститут", 2024) Vambol, S. O.; Mezentseva, I. O.; Ilyinska, O. I.; Yevtushenko, N. S.
These methodological instructions are intended for the independent work of students studying the discipline "Technological and ecological safety in the conditions of industrial and economic activity" in order to clarify the methodology for calculating the assessment of the situation in the event of an accident on water bodies. Methodical instructions for independent work "Calculations of dangerous zones, protective fences and safety devices"
    (Національний технічний університет "Харківський політехнічний інститут", 2024) Mezentseva, I. O.; Vambol, S. O.; Yevtushenko, S. O.; Ilyinska, O. I.
Each dangerous production factor has two main characteristics - the zone of action, which is called dangerous, and the time of action. A dangerous zone is a space in which a dangerous and (or) harmful production factor is likely to affect an employee. During work at height, the area located below the work platform is considered a dangerous zone; during the operation of lifting machines (electric hoist, crane beam), the dangerous zone is determined by the distance of the possible departure of the load in the event of a break in one of the slings. Permanent danger zones exist or arise in chain, belt or gear transmissions, when processing parts on lathes, circular saws and sharpening machines, near cutting tools, working bodies of many machines, near presses, pneumatic and hydraulic hammers, stamping machines, under machines and platforms , lifted using a hydraulic or other lifting system. The dimensions of the dangerous zone in space can be constant (the zone between the rollers, the belt and the pulley) and variable (the cutting zone when changing the mode and nature of processing, changing the cutting tool, etc.). The presence of a dangerous zone can be caused by the danger of electric shock, as well as the impact of thermal, electromagnetic and ionizing radiation, noise, vibration, ultrasound, harmful vapors and gases, dust, the possibility of injury by flying particles of the material, tool, the flight of the processed part, etc. 5 When designing and operating technological equipment, it is necessary to provide for the use of devices that either exclude the possibility of human contact with the dangerous zone, or reduce this danger.

Educational component as a way of improving status of labor safety of mechanical building industry of Ukraine
    (Державний біотехнологічний університет, 2023) Vambol, S. O.; Mezentseva, I. O.; Liu, Yujun
The research shows that the educational component is one of the areas of safe work in mechanical engineering. The analysis of the educational programs of the master's level in the machine-building industry of Ukraine and the EU countries on the example of Germany is presented. It is proposed to introduce relevant disciplines into educational programs for the formation of culture and occupational safety in specialists.

Guidelines for laboratory works on the topic "Industrial noise study"
    (2022) Mezentseva, I. O.; Ilinska, O. I.; Movmyga, N. E.
Guidelines for laboratory works are intended for practical work from the course "Fundamentals of Occupational Safety and Health" of the first (bachelor's) level of training for students of higher education in the specialties of the NTU KhPI. It is well known that noise adversely affects the human body. Workers who deal with noisy machines and mechanisms develop permanent hearing impairment, which often leads to occupational diseases. The long-term effect of noise on the human body leads to the development of chronic overfatigue, impaired thermoregulation, and the appearance of such symptoms as poor sleep, drowsiness, and impaired thermoregulation. All this can cause an accident at work. Noise affects the digestive and circulatory systems, the cardiovascular and endocrine systems, the nervous system, etc. Noise not only worsens a person's well-being, but also reduces work productivity by 10-15%. In this regard, the fight against it is not only of sanitary and hygienic importance, but also of great technical and economic importance. Industrial noise is one of the main harmful factors that causes occupational sensorineural deafness in workers of various professional groups. In the structure of occupational diseases in Ukraine, hearing diseases occupy the third place - 14.9% of the total number of diagnoses. Machine-building enterprises are one of the powerful sources of noise pollution. The purpose of these methodological instructions is for students to acquire the skills to independently solve an engineering problem: development of acoustic means of protection against noise in production, selection of the optimal option; determining the effectiveness of noise reduction measures at workplaces, taking into account the characteristics of noise sources and the peculiarities of their location in the room, etc. The goal of the work "Industrial noise study" is to assimilate the ways of constant noise rationing, experimental study and calculation of sound level (the sound pressure) from several sources, as well as sound isolation properties of a wall partition.

Ensuring psychological safety to develop students’ risk-based thinking of the specialty "Civil security"
    (Харківський національний педагогічний університет ім. Г. С. Сковороди, 2022) Yevtushenko, N. S.; Tverdokhliebova, Natalia; Mezentseva, I. O.
Ukrainian society is exposed to external threats from the war with Russia, which negatively affects the plans, goals and quality of life, increases psychological tension and leads to a deterioration in the mental and social health of the population. This also applies to participants in the educational environment. The relevance of studying the state, experience, psychological and social capabilities of modern students is growing during the conduct of hostilities in Ukraine. Hence, the issue of psychological safety in the interaction of participants in the educational environment in distance and mixed forms of education becomes a priority. The process of forming risk-oriented thinking of students of a technical educational institution provides for training in understanding the phenomenon of risk-based thinking in the unity of three incarnations: a person himself determines what is acceptable for him, taking into account possible negative consequences, the presence of moral attitudes to preserve the life and health of people of social values of development social relations that exclude danger.
