    Project-oriented teaching during learning ukrainian as a foreign languages: development of students' communication skills

    Perception of professional information is possible due to orientation to different sources that are related to foreign language learning. The study aims to determine the peculiarities of the development of communication skills of students through the use of project-oriented teaching of Ukrainian as a foreign language. Ensuring the development of the set purpose was possible due to the use of the methods of analysis, observation and estimated efficiency coefficient, effect level coefficient, Student’s coefficient. Project-oriented approaches to education, oriented to the development of communication skills were developed during the study. They were based on dubbing the disciplines in two languages, formation of theoretical language knowledge, and development of dialogue communication and writing skills. The most positive role of the selected project-oriented teaching was found using SWOT analysis. The practical significance of the work provides for the possibility of the use of developed approaches to studying Ukrainian as a foreign language for the possibility of obtaining communication skills. The perspective of the study will be oriented towards a comparison of the influence of project-oriented studying of students of different ages with consideration of their possibilities at the beginning.

    A pedagogue’s facilitation competency in teaching foreign students

    On the outcomes of analyzing the scientific literature on pedagogic facilitation, it is proved in the article that no issues concerning a higher education institution pedagogue’s facilitative competence in foreign students training have been raised by scientists; the notions of “competence”, “professional interests”, “facilitation”, “facilitator pedagogue”, “facilitation competence” are defined; the role of a facilitator pedagogue in forming persistent interest in foreign students to their future professional activity is disclosed, as well as requirements for his or her personality and professional traits; on the experience of work with foreign students, conclusion is made concerning the use of interactive methods of teaching at the lectures and in practical classes; an example is given of possible topics and questions to be discussed at trainings, pedagogical workshops on facilitation pedagogy; it is noted that a facilitator pedagogue is to apply creative approach to teaching foreign students, forming in them not only interest in future professional activity, but also the pedagogue’s facilitative competence.A pedagogue’s facilitation competency in teaching foreign students.

    The interactive technologies of study Ukrainian as a foreign language: structural analysis

    At the present stage of integration process Ukrainian higher education institutions go through the difficult period of reforming. According to the new "Education law", modern higher education institutions will have the system reconstructions of educational process and transition to the modernized educational approach both for Ukrainian and foreign students. Thus, the idea of practical orientation of Ukrainian as a foreign language is approved in activity of language departments. First of all it is necessary to teach foreign students to read, to write, to speak Ukrainian and also to work independently with textbook. The basis issue of all educational transformations should be understanding of foreign student’s capacities and forecasting of personality development requirements in the conditions of adaptation. That’s why on a practical classes of Ukrainian as a foreign language the teacher of higher education institution is faced by a difficult task: to teach students to listen, to perceive, to remember a studying material, to develop the creative potential. The developing purposes have to be defined according to a concrete studying material and provide students with knowledge, practical skills, requirements to perform educational tasks creatively and qualitatively.
