Current trends in the creation of powder materials for antifriction units are considered. The conditions and operating modes of antifriction parts made from powder compositions, as well as their areas of application, are shown. The operating conditions of powder antifriction materials and the dependence of the load on the speeds of ordinary and sulfided iron graphite are given. It has been established that in order to avoid the use of friction compounds in a vacuum, it is necessary to add metal lubricants and low-melting soft metals to antifriction powder compositions.
