Abstract

It is given he results of experimental research and development aimed at improving the detection of surface defects and performance monitoring with EMA method of excitation and receiving pulses of surface waves. It is shown that the use of EMA transducers allows to provide of high performance of defectoscopy products with large surface area in comparison with contact ultrasonic monitoring methods significantly reduce the costs of the ultrasonic testing.
