Abstract

In the article tone signals of public switched telephone network (PSTN) recognition method that robust to speech interference is proposed. The method makes possible to several computer-telephony integration applications to omit using the echo canceller. Tonal packet start is detected by ratio of average power spectral density (PSD) in the previous analysis interval to minimal PSD in the current analysis interval.
