Digital literacy and digital culture within university studying

Abstract

The article examines the important role of digital literacy in the development of students' competencies, as well as its impact on the evolution of digital culture. It explains how the ability to effective access, analyze and digital content creation affects on the quality of learning, educational process, participation in digital communities and helps to shape cultural norms fostering global interaction and communication. It focuses on the challenges of digital inequality and the impact of the educational programmes on the digital literacy skills development. The theses emphasize the importance of inclusive digital practices to ensure equal participation in the digital environment and consider the skills that can be developed through digital literacy.
