Abstract
A mathematical model of the flow of molten metal in the roll gap in the roll casting. The liquid metal is considered as a linear viscous medium. Finite difference method to solve the system consisting of the Laplace equation for the stream function and the Poisson equation for the strength of the vortex, converted to bicylindrical coordinates. The results of the calculation of the flow velocity.
