dc.description.abstractThe course "Noises and vibrations of electric machines" studies the basic information on physical, physiological and measuring acoustics and calculation methods of noise and vibration analysis of electric machines. The main task and purpose of teaching the course is to train masters and provide them with theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of using methods for analyzing noise and vibrations of electric machines and ways to eliminate them. The course is based on the bachelor's degree program. As a result of studying the course, the student should learn to determine the sources of noise and vibrations of electric machines, calculate, measure and eliminate vibrations of electric machines, gain knowledge about new achievements in the theory of noise and vibrations of electric machines. Control of the theoretical component of the work program, which is learned during the student's independent work, is carried out in a test form. Semester control is carried out in the form of an exam based on exam tickets in accordance with the curriculum in the amount of educational material determined by the curriculum and in the terms established by the curriculum, taking into account the results of the current academic performance. This methodical instructions contains the program of the course "Noises and vibrations of electric machines", test questions for its sections, methodical instructions for performing the calculation task, as well as a list of sources of information necessary for its study. The calculation task contains problems that are solved when determining the level of noise and vibration during the design and operation of electric machines using the example of induction motors: calculation of the angular frequencies of free and natural vibrations, stator pliability, effective and root mean square values of vibration velocity, sound intensity, and critical rotor speed.
