Abstract
The article is divided to analysis of the concept "competitive advantages of the region" and the existing approaches to the definition. The components of the competitive advantages of the region was considered, the structure and the basic conditions of their realization were clarified. Influence of competitive advantages on competitiveness of the region increasing was revealed.
